I hav downloaded oscommerce template (free of cost). Please tell me its a free oscommerce template or its will want password after i upload on my domain.

Most of the osCommerce
Most of the osCommerce templates do not contain any activation function. As long as you've download, you can use it without trouble.
For some rare cases, the template creator may search you by search engins suck as google, and send you warning letter. You could, and most likely, just ignor the warning letter. No body are going to spend thousands of dollars for a license fee of less than one hundred dollars.
My opinion is... just use it when you've downloaded and like it.
NO KEY OR LICENSE NUMBER is REQUIRED FOR osCOMMERCE templates.
